Sold individually (900 gr). All challas are parve.
This is a larger challa, specially braided in the shape of a crown. Perfect for Rosh Hashanah!
The baking procedure is a little bit more involved. Please follow the instructions carefully.
These challas come with a tinfoil tray to bake them in.
Unwrap challa & place in the middle of the included tinfoil tray.
Cover challa loosely with plastic or kitchen towel.
Defrost at room temp for 8-9 hours.
(If you prefer to defrost over night, give it 10 hours in the fridge, followed by an additional 3 hours at room temp)
Challa is ready to bake when it has grown 2-3x frozen size.
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Optional: brush challa with beaten egg for a brilliant finish.
Bake on centre rack for 35 minutes.
Remove from oven, and cover with tinfoil.
Return to oven and bake for final 15 minutes.
Allow product to cool down before digging in.
